The Pekapeka is a very old Māori design depicting our native bat, it is a guardian in its very nature as Bats have sight of what is unseen this gives this sacred amulet a very spiritually protective quality.
Pounamu or Greenstone is regarded as a stone sacred to the gods by the Māori of New Zealand. As a Taonga -meaning treasured, and it should be worn with respect and pride. Pounamu is a gift from the heart.
